Just His Luck

So my boyfriend wins for having the worst day ever. We were on our way to play tennis for the first time since we have both been in high school. We had our cool sunglasses on and were ready to enjoy the nice weather and get some E X E R C I S E plus we could hang out with our friends and play doubles. We have only been warming up for like 5 minutes when I turn around to get a ball I hear someone scream "OH SHIT!" I look over my shoulder and see Joe face flat on the pavement on my side of the net. I imagined this had happened before running over to him. I noticed that unlike this video, he didn't get up. Thinking he only had a cut on his chin and a bruised arm, we cleaned it up and noticed that the cut on his chin was pretty bad. We debated what to do because Joe decided to become uninsured 3 months ago. After shoving a damp alcohol cloth on his chin and grunting bloody hell, I took Joe to the Urgent Care Center where he recieved 7 stitches-2 internal to the muscles-and 5 on the outer part of his skin. I can't stop l a u g h i n g. Now he feels like an idiot and his writing arm imparied. He would probably kill me if he knew I was telling my whole class about this...but I'm sure he will laugh later...hopefully! At least he made my day funny!

Cocker Poop

Okay...so how are you today? Remember to breathe, relax, and enjoy the rest of the day. What bad things happened to you today? Well the past few days have been interesting for me...as a dog groomer I'm used to smelling poop all day, but the other day was the first time I've ever experienced the constant smell of shit as a lady decided to bring in her 7 cocker spaniel puppies...this is what they look like:



You might say...awww...how cute....when in reality they are shitting machines! This is what shit looks like:



All they did was poop the whole time. Give them water, they shit. Give them a bath, they shit. Clean out their kennel they shit again!! It was a never ending day of puppy shit at work. I really thought by the end of the day I'd puke. All in all we were used as groomers and substituted as babysitters beause the owner didn't pick up the little poopers for another 7 hours. Gotta let it go and be appreciative of the fresh air and the nice weather we finally have! Thank god the day is over.

Rainy Day

Here in Omaha we are ready for spring which today seems to bring showers. I think on rainy days every thing should be cancelled so people can watch movies, hang out with friends, or catch up on some reading. As long as the weather today isn't like this I'm content with the drizzle. It could be worse, but even if it was we have to make the best of it...just like these folks from Denver
